Health News: A traditional medicine expert said: Olives only need to be eaten together so that their constituents are well absorbed and their nutritional effects appear. Eating olives and vegetables are the only things that are generally prohibited from eating alongside food.

Nasser Rezaipour said about olives: Olive is one of the phenolic compounds that is abundant in green olives but decreases with its darkness and blackness and unfortunately there is almost no canned and salted olives!

According to him, the active ingredient that gives rise to numerous properties of olive is found in high-fat (unrefined and odorous) olive oil and eliminated by refining.

The traditional medicine expert added: Olives only need to be eaten together so that their phenolic compounds are well absorbed and their nutritional effects appear. Olives have anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, antimicrobial, blood pressure lowering, cardiovascular and antioxidant activities.

Rezaeipour added: “Olives should only be eaten together; eating olives and vegetables are the only things that are generally prohibited when eaten.

He advised: Avoid salads, yogurt, pickles, and various drinks alongside the main meal and eat as much olive, boiled carrots and herbs as possible, unless specifically prohibited or specifically recommended.
